1. Delete it here or in the app
You can delete your account in the Furat app or on the website (Settings → Account), or here without the app. Enter your account’s email and we’ll send it a 6-digit code to confirm it’s you.
2. What happens
- If you’re a team member, your login, name and email are deleted at once. The business stays with its owner.
- If you’re the owner (the business’s only admin), the business is paused for 30 days, and we email you a download of all your records: spreadsheets, GST registers and a PDF of every invoice. You can cancel in that time by signing in. After 30 days we delete every record and file of the business and switch off every login, and email you when it’s done.
- GST law asks a business to keep its books for 72 months. Please keep your download: after deletion we no longer have your records.
3. What we keep, and for how long
- Your email, name and the dates of your request: 180 days, as India’s IT Rules ask, then deleted.
- Safety records and reports about AI answers: 180 days, then deleted.
- Receipts for Furat plans you bought: 8 years, for our own GST and income-tax records.
